The Occupational Therapy Unit, through the utility of specialized treatment techniques and methods, attempts to make the persons of disabilities (PDs) independent in their daily activities so that they can enjoy the blessings of a pleasant life like other people in the society. It also provides rehabilitation services to the clients with the license of the Welfare Organization and thereby having the expert human staff and professional equipment in a suitable environment, with the capacity of accepting 20 people per day.
After having conducted the necessary evaluations and identifications of the physical, cognitive and social requirements of the persons of disabilities (PDs), treatment begins by means of a wide range of techniques and methods. Also, the therapist’s function consists of providing educational and therapeutic services to the persons of disabilities (PDs), family or caregivers, helping him to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to improve his performance.
