In line with the realization of its empowerment goals, Ra’d al-Ghadir has made its services accessible to the target community by providing transportation facilities in the city of Tehran. Three buses, five vans, and one minibus adapted for daily commuting of persons with disabilities (PDs).

All people with physical and movement disabilities, deaf and hard of hearing can benefit from the services of this institution provided that they meet the admission requirements.

All persons of disabilities (PDs) including: Poliomyelitis, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Spinal Cord Lesion, Organic Defect, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), various Dystrophies, various Skeletal Abnormalities, Dwarfism, Severe Rickets, Ataxia, Defective Hearing, and Deafness, provided that they do not have mental disabilities, can benefit from the services of this institution.

Yes, in the education and rehabilitation departments, it is possible to use services for persons of disabilities (PDs) between 15 and 40 years old.

All applicants who are interested in using the services of this institution can refer               to Ra’d al-Ghadir with prior telephone arrangement and with the following documents:

  • Introduction letter from Welfare Organization,
  • Three pieces of three-by-four full-color photos that were taken at least in the last year and copy of birth certificate (all pages),
  • Copy of National Card front and back,
  • Copies of obtained educational qualifications or valid certificates,
  • Summary of the medical record (disability history) if any.

Commuting services for persons with disabilities (PDs) living in Tehran are provided by 3 buses and 5 full-size vans, and for the residents of Islamshahr by a minibus that is provided to them with the participation of Islamshahr Islamic Council.
